Frequently Asked Questions

Is Respond ‘26 only for Virtuous users?

No. While Virtuous powers the event and offers dedicated sessions for users, Respond is designed for all fundraisers and nonprofit professionals who want to strengthen donor relationships and grow their impact. You’ll find valuable learning no matter what platform or tools your team uses.

Absolutely. Respond builds on the foundation of the Virtuous User Summit with even more opportunities to learn, connect, and grow. You’ll find in-depth Virtuous sessions, hands-on workshops, and direct access to our team, all designed to help you use the platform more effectively and expand your impact.

Fundraisers, marketers, development leaders, database administrators, operations professionals, and nonprofit executives will all find value at Respond. Whether you focus on donor engagement, data strategy, or campaign planning, you’ll gain new ideas and practical approaches you can apply right away. It’s an event built for entire teams to learn, grow, and connect together.

You’ll hear from practitioners who are in the trenches of fundraising every day and seeing real results. Sessions feature nonprofit leaders, tech experts, and fundraising professionals who bring both vision and practical experience. You’ll learn from people who understand your challenges, share what’s working, and offer insights you can immediately put into practice.

Most conferences prioritize airtime over application. Respond ’26 prioritizes practice. You will learn from practitioners who are doing the work now, then apply lessons in hands-on workshops and CFRE-eligible sessions. Programming is organized by role, sector, and experience level, so every attendee gets relevant content.

Virtuous users get even more. Deep-dive product sessions and the Pre-Conference Customer Learning Lab Day provide focused time with experts to build confidence and unlock value.

Respond expands the Virtuous User Summit into a larger experience for the entire fundraising community. Virtuous users will still find deep platform learning and opportunities to connect with our team, while fundraisers from any organization can explore new strategies, trends, and best practices shaping the future of fundraising. It’s the same spirit of community and learning…now opened to a wider audience.

You’ll leave with new ideas, practical strategies, and meaningful connections that last well beyond the conference. Every session is designed to help you think differently about fundraising, apply what you’ve learned to your daily work, and feel reenergized about the mission that drives you.

Don’t worry, we know swag matters. You can expect even better gear this year, with something for everyone to take home. We’ve got a few surprises we’re keeping under wraps, and we promise you’ll leave with fresh ideas and something you’ll actually want to wear or use.

We’ve got you covered! We have two template letters depending on if you’re a current Virtuous Customer or not that you can use to convince your leader. Choose from one of the buttons below.
